Nature of Services Stylo NY is an online directory, promotion and booking service which enables a network of discerning clients and talented “On-Location Professionals” (On-location professionals include massage therapists,makeup artists,hair Professionals and any other beauty service providers hereafter referred to as “Professional”or “Professionals”) to find each other. By signing up for a membership with Stylo NY client agree to abide by all terms and conditions contained on this webpage and elsewhere on the Stylo NY website. (As the person agreeing to the terms and conditions printed here, client is sometimes referred to as “I”.) True Information I affirm that all information on my profile is true and correct
- this includes all portions of my account. If determined it is false, Updating Account I agree to use my best efforts to login to my account and update my profile such as address change. Cell Phone Requirement and internet connection I confirm that I own a cell phone or land line and have access to an internet connected computer Returning Calls Promptly
If a STYLO NY representative calls me directly, and I am
unable to pick up my phone, I agree to return his or her call in a timely
manner. Checking emails I agree to check my email at the day before the scheduled appointment date to confirm my appointment via the confirmation email sent. Promptness. I agree to arrive at all appointments ON TIME. Turning Away of Professionals
I agree not to turn away
any Professional unless for the reasons listed:
Professional arrives later than 20 minutes for the scheduled
appointment time. Professional is rude, violent, sexually abusive or racist. Lateness for appointment. There is a 20 minute grace period for the Professionals. Any late time that is more than 20 minutes will give the client the option to cancel the appointment and receive a credit for his/her initial payment.(if such a payment was received by stylony.com) membership cancelling I understand that I'm not entitled to any monetary compensation if I should decide to cancel my membership, Cancellation Policy for my account Email your request to support@stylony.com and we will cancel your account. No Offensive Language I agree not to post any offensive language or remarks anywhere on the STYLO NY website, and I understand that doing so may result in the termination of my membership without refund. No Illegal Service I agree not to engage in any illegal service. Leaving Behind Items I understand that should I leave anything behind at a location,
like the Professional home, it is between me and the Professional to arrange a return of the item.
STYLO NY cannot be held responsible. Change of Address. I understand that it is my responsibility to let STYLO NY know if my address has changed. Parking. If there are any parking charges then reimbursement of those charges should be agreed upon before the appointment takes place. This is between me and the Professional. Membership Plan & service fee. Membership is free. Gratuity I understand that the rates for Professionals using STYLO NY do not include gratuity. Use in Publicity STYLO NY can use the image or words of my reviews in any publicity materials. Which client reviews STYLO NY chooses to promote is entirely up to STYLO NY crew. BEAUTY AND MASSAGE THERAPY SERVICES: PRICES AND DURATION POLICY Prices of services professionals agree to charge the client no more than the rate which is stated on their Booking Page at the time the service appointment was booked Duration The duration of the booked service can be diffrent then the time that was posted by the professional for the specific service since is was set by an estimate of time alone. Membership Plan & service fee. Membership is free. REVIEWS ON PROFESSIONAL BOOKING PAGE POLICY Reviews on Professional Clients may post testimonials/reviews on the Professionals service and can also rate him/her with our star system. The Professional may reject or approve testimonial posting in his/her booking page. Star rating system The client always has an option to effect the rates of a Professionals work after receiving the booked service. Coupons policy If a client uses a coupon at the booking time Then the Professional is obliged to respect the coupon discount and charge accordingly. CONFIRMATION AND CANCELING EMAIL ALERTS POLICIES. Client will
receive “A booked appointment email” a few minutes after online booking, with
the appointment details. APPOINTMENT CANCELING POLICY. STYLO NY reserves the right to terminate a client or a
Professionals account that has canceled appointments repeatedly. Clients Canceling Policy. Clients using “STYLO NY” have a 12 hour per Professional cancellation policy. For example, if the client books 3 separate Professionals, he/she needs to give them each 12 hours notice for cancellation. If the client cancels, but more than 12 hours before the scheduled
appointment, any initial payment taken at the time of the booking becomes a credit to the client. For Event Appointments (hair Parties, Corporate Styling service, etc.), STYLO NY requires a 24 hour notice per Professional for cancellation. Failure to give this notice will result in being charged the full amount of the appointment. Professionals Canceling Policy.
Professionals agree to try their best to keep the appointments
booked at the available time they have set. Client will then be refunded then for his initial payment if one was taken.
Cancellation email alerts. Once Professional or client cancels appointment through the website the appointment is taken off from the clients upcoming appointment list, the time slot in the online calendar of the professional is freed and the following email alerts are sent:
Email alert will be sent to stylo NY team alerting them of the cancellation.
If the professional canceled then an Email alert will be sent to client alerting him that the appointment has been canceled. If the client canceled then an
Email alert will be sent to the Professional alerting him/her that the appointment has been canceled.
client appointment rescheduling:
Clients wish to
reschedule in which case he needs to cancel the current appointment.
Editing Profiles.
“STYLO NY” reserves the right to edit client profiles as it sees
fit, including changing the client's picture if it seems inappropriate.
No Affiliation with Professionals.
In addition, we are not personally affiliated with any of the Professionals
who use the STYLO NY website. While STYLO NY uses its best efforts to
screen Professionals by taking their licensing details and also by trying to
meet each of them personally, we do not fully investigate the individuals who
are listed on the STYLO NY website.
PROFESSIONAL AND CLIENT DISPUTES Any disputes between the client and Professional have nothing to do with STYLO NY. However, the client is free to post a negative review of that Professional on the STYLO NY website if he or she is unhappy with the service provided. Professional may reject the review to be posted on their profile but will be effected rating wise. Professional can also opt to not have any reviews at all posted on his/her profile. PROFESSIONALS on our network also reserve the right to refuse giving a service to a client after speaking with them on the phone before
the appointment (as long as they do not commit to the appointment). PROFESSIONALS can also refuse giving a styling service after meeting the client in person before the service is to begin.
Client preparation for home beauty and massage therapist services. Clients should make sure they have a 4 by 4 space room that is cleared for the table before the Professional arrives.A working sink,
If reports come back from client that there was Professional
misconduct, STYLO NY has the right at its sole discretion to take
Professional’s profile off the website. If reports come back from Professional that there was client misconduct, “STYLO NY” has the right at its sole discretion to immediately suspend that client's membership.
FINAL AGREEMENT
By using this site, I confirm that I am at least 18
years of age and understand the risks described above.
I understand that any arrangement I may make with a STYLO NY Professional is a
private arrangement between me and the Professional ONLY, and that STYLO NY
cannot and will not be liable for any body (or property) injury or loss
occasioned by the negligent or intentional conduct of anyone who uses the
STYLO NY website. I agree that STYLO NY, in its sole discretion, has the right
(but not the obligation) to delete or deactivate my account or otherwise
terminate my access to or use of the Service (or any part thereof),
immediately and without notice, and remove and discard any Content within the
Service, for any reason, including, without limitation, if STYLO NY
believes that I have acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of the
Terms & Conditions. Further, I agree that STYLO NY shall not be liable
to me or any third-party for any termination of my access to the Service.
>UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL “STYLO NY” BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT,
INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, RESULTING
FROM ANY ASPECT OF YOUR USE OF THE “STYLO NY” SITE OR THE SERVICE, WHETHER
THE DAMAGES ARISE FROM USE OR MISUSE OF THE “STYLO NY” SITE OR THE SERVICE,
FROM INABILITY TO USE THE “STYLO NY” SITE OR THE SERVICE, OR THE
INTERRUPTION, SUSPENSION, MODIFICATION, ALTERATION, OR TERMINATION OF THE
“STYLO NY” SITE OR THE SERVICE. SUCH LIMITATION SHALL ALSO APPLY WITH RESPECT
TO DAMAGES INCURRED BY REASON OF OTHER SERVICES OR PRODUCTS RECEIVED THROUGH
OR ADVERTISED IN CONNECTION WITH THE “STYLO NY” SITE OR THE SERVICE OR ANY
LINKS ON THE “STYLO NY” SITE, AS WELL AS BY REASON OF ANY INFORMATION OR
ADVICE RECEIVED THROUGH OR ADVERTISED IN CONNECTION WITH THE “STYLO NY” SITE
OR THE SERVICE OR ANY LINKS ON THE “STYLO NY” SITE. THESE LIMITATIONS SHALL
APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. I agree to ALL of these terms and conditions, and I understand
that they apply to all services performed by “STYLO NY”. |
